In Memory Of Kathleen ("Kathy") E Miller
December 29, 1952 ~ April 18, 2014
Lord, we commit into your hands, our wife, mother, sister, and friend, Kathy Miller. Amid her challenges, it was a life lived well and we are grateful for her presence in our lives. Despite our sadness at not having her here with us any longer, we rejoice that her challenges and suffering are over and she is now in her new body, dancing in heaven, and has been reunited with her beloved father whom she recently lost but had not been able to see for over 4 years.
We ask for comfort and peace for those left behind--her husband and son who will miss her presence in their midst every day, her mother, who has recently lost her husband and now her daughter, her sister who loves her dearly, and her good friend who corresponded with her many times a day. The joy she brought to others despite her challenges was truly special.
We commit her life to you, Lord. She has always belonged to You and we look forward to the day we will be reunited with her in Your presence.
Kathy was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in social work and a Master's Degree in Human Resources. She spent her entire life doing work in child abuse and neglect, and was the founder of Broken Arrow Neighbors.
She was a counselor, a friend, mother, grandmother, and wife. To her family, she was a saint.
The word itself means "messenger", her message was unconditional love to all she knew.
A beautiful soul who didn't just wait for her turn to talk, she would listen.
She is a loss to everyone she touched...May God rest her precious Soul. Viewing 5:00-7:00 pm Monday, April 21, 2014 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. Mass of Christian burial 10:00 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Saint Mary, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Lighting a candle in memory of your loved one is a great way of commemorating his or her soul, shines out light out to them, and warms you near.
