Dear Lord, You know Melbourne’s so much better than we do. You know her
sickness and the burden of grief she carries. You also know her heart. Lord,
we ask you to be with Mel now as you work in her life. Lord, let your will be
done in Mel's life. Lord, we all pray for Mel just as your word tells us to pray,
for healing and comfort. We believe you hear this earnest prayer from our
hearts and that it is powerful because of your promise.

We have faith in you, Lord, to comfort Mel, but we also trust in the plan you
have for her life. Lord, we don't always understand your ways. We don't know
why Mel has to suffer from this terrible disease, but we trust you. We ask that
you look with mercy and grace toward Mel and make better and well again.

Nourish her spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort her with your
presence. Let Mel know you are there with her through this difficulty.
Give her peace, comfort and hold her in your arms. And may you, through this
difficulty, be glorified in her life and also her families and all the members here
at In Jesus name we pray.
